Governor Pat McCrory congratulated Duke University's Men's Basketball team and Coach Mike Krzyzewski after the Blue Devils won the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.

"The national championship has made this Duke team special in a program that has a history of producing special and outstanding teams," Governor McCrory said. "This has been a landmark season for Coach K. In addition to winning his fifth National Championship, this was the season he surpassed 1,000 wins. North Carolina is fortunate to witness the building of one of most impressive coaching legacies, not only in basketball, but in collegiate sports."
